Make a list of the specific emotions the music you love makes you feel.

Then write down some memories of times you felt those emotions and write down the specific emotional sequences you went through.

Then pick one of those emotional journeys and put it into song in the same order the emotions affected you.

If you do this a few times then you’ll get a good idea of which parts of your emotional reality you’re good at expressing.

Once you find a palette of emotions that suit you best the style and brand will naturally flow from there.

Then with your own sample libraries and sounds you will for sure create a unique sound.
