Music Documentaries Worth The Watch

With the rise of digital streaming platforms in both music and film, it’s no surprise the internet is full of infinite bundles of informative peaks, one being Netflix. We’re a fan of movies – they allow your brain to breathe after a full upswing in production rise, especially when you’re not bombarded by advertisement and recurring commercials and infomercial’s, which add to the stress you don’t need. The great folks over at DJ Mag have 10 solid music documentaries recommendations, examining historical glimpses, highlighting trends and knowledge drop.  Some of our favorites are Hip-Hop Evolution, Daft Punk Unchained, Searching for Sugar Man, and Steve Aoki: I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead!

Be sure to check out Cypher 003: Night At The Movies!   The Cypher Series is ill.Gates monthly challenge to his students where a topic is chosen and the challenge is to make a beat surrounding the theme to be showcased for everyone to see!  Join The Class of 808, begin by watching The Ill.Methodology Remastered Workshop ! Enjoy!
