The main thing that separates the new $8000 Moog One from the $1500 Moog Sub 37 is POLYPHONY.
POLY = many, PHONY = voices.
POLYPHONY gives you the ability to play chords, and with an analog synth this is a huge deal. Each voice has it's own idiosyncrasies, it's own slight detuning, it's own unique charm. When you add many analog voices together - imperfections and all - you get an extremely warm, rich, analog tone that really lets you know WHY analog has such a huge reputation for sonics.
The good news for you is that you don't need to spend $8000 to get polyphonic analog sounds because I have made you a polyphonic analog synth out of Moog samples in the Ableton Sampler.
Now you can make sure that all of your chords really BLAST. Rich sonic power that cuts through the mix. A THICK warm bed of sound that you can really make a home in.
If you make music with chords in it you really want the thickest and richest chords you can make and there is nothing that sounds QUITE like chords on a Moog.
This audio demo is from the track I made inspired by these amazing sound. Have a listen and tell me you don't want that chord sound. HUGE!
