K Fish Releases Hot New Track, “Dancin'” on Noiseporn
Longtime Producer Dojo Ninja, K Fish teams up with Noiseporn
Kevin Fisher, aka K Fish, is a genre-defying bass music producer/drummer/DJ based in Seattle. A lifelong drummer, Kevin infuses his beats with soul and natural rhythm. We are so stoked for his release, “Dancin'” on Noiseporn Records and we had a chance to check in with him on this awesome news.
Kevin, congratulations on your latest release with Noiseporn. What was the submission process like and how long did it take?
K Fish: Working with Noiseporn was great! I submitted the track to them through LabelRadar, and they got back to me within a couple of weeks saying they wanted to release it in early June. Then we settled on an end-of-July release date. They paired me with a graphic artist and gave me exactly what I was looking for with the artwork. They were even willing to make revisions based on my feedback. This was my first time releasing with a label, so it was great having help throughout the process and getting promotion to all of Noiseporn’s existing fanbase.
What can we expect from K Fish for the remainder of 2022 and beyond?
K Fish: I have a few tracks coming out later this year, including two collabs with Hello Ego and Intranaut. Our new group is called “Meh” (@ourmusicismeh) and we’ve been working on tons of new music recently, stay tuned! Beyond that, I’m working on a new EP that I hope to release early next year. I’ve also (finally) started DJing and played a few shows at a bar in Seattle so far. For future shows, I want to work on incorporating some finger drumming routines and even live drums too!
